Felix y Los Gatos at Second Street Saturday

What a pleasant evening on the patio at Second Street!

We were sitting under trees, listening to Streets of Bakersfield as it somehow morphed into the streets of Santa Fe. A couple was dancing in the parking lot.



Later on The Gatos took pity on some itinerant saxophone player and let him sit for a number or two.



Thanks Felix, Dave, & Mikey -- you sounded great.

Wednesday's 6-16 Open Mic

A fun evening. Peter Chang (on the right) dropped by and led off a couple. Check this one out.

We are quite fortunate to have a bass section that is very tight. And close. And affectionate.

It was a bit quiet at the opening of last Wednesday's session. By the time the evening wore on, though, a number of musicians had taken the stage.
